Why In-Home Care Might be Right for You

OSAN understands aged care housing is not for everyone. The stress of being in a space with others can be overwhelming and for many, it's important to maintain as much independence as possible.

What many appreciate about In-Home Care is that it can be specifically tailored to your needs depending on the level of support you require. Our experienced Support Coordinators assess your requirements on a case-by-case basis to ensure you’re matched with the appropriate level of care. Some only require assistance with a more select variety of tasks instead of round-the-clock care. For example, you may require help with cleaning and household chores, do grocery shopping or perhaps need someone to accompany you to the doctor’s office.

A home is a safe space, where you’re in an element of familiarity and comfort and have everything you need at your fingertips. In-home care means you can choose to have a member of your family present at all times, should you feel anxious around new people, and take more time to build trust.

In-Home care also allows you to have the complete attention of your carer and may help establish a deeper relationship between you and your support worker should one of your needs be socialisation or companionship. OSAN’s In-Home carers can help provide your family peace of mind you’re well being is being looked after.

Personal care can be a sensitive area for some and many prefer assistance from a trained professional, instead of asking a member of their family for help. Our support staff ensures you’re in a relaxed, open, and comfortable environment, free from judgment. Some of the areas we offer personal care assistance are in dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting and more. If you’re looking for In-Home care from passionate staff with years of industry experience, give us a call or “Enquire Now” to find out more about how OSAN Ability can help you.
